IDMI proposal for the sale of products
Before 0900
0740 – Meet at foyer piano area
0740 - 0755 – briefing and move tables and chairs
0800 – 0820 – flag raising
0820 – 0850 –set up booth
- Research: do your posters, pin up, etc (all will be involved)
- Media support: go around take photo and video of booth and processes (Kai Yuen will follow the setting up of booth)
- Finance: count the number of stocks and make sure they tally with the number sold later on (only 2 will be needed)
- Communication: get the mic and laptop and speakers as we will be playing music to attract people’s attention (only 2 will be needed)
- Logistic: set up the booth
Therefore, there will only be 23 people left to set up the booth and for the mascot
- 8 people will be involved with the mascot thing
- you all will carry the posters and walk around the school
- 4 will carry the posters, the other 4 will be from the media support group to take pictures
After taking out the mascot people, we will have 15 people left, however, Sandy will not be coming and Hui Xiang’s attendance is not confirmed(however, lets take it as though she will come=D), leaving us with 14 people. These 14 people will complete setting up the WHOLE booth by 0900 as the first recess is at 0915.
The 4 people carrying the posters will be Chun Seng, Shou Yi, Kuan Liang and Zheng Feng. The other 4 people from media support will be Ru Meng, Denise, Sarah and Jillian. The pairing is as in respective order.
As for the group like Finance and Communication, who will need to send 2 people, will settle the people themselves.
After 0900
First shift –
0900 to 1200Second shift –
1200 to 1500Instead of all the mascots going around the school for almost 7 hours, after 0900, Chun Seng and Shou Yi will go for the first shift, while Kuan Liang and Zheng Feng will go for the second shift. Their respective media support people will follow.
The people in each shift are as follows: Finance- 1st = 3 people
2nd = 3 people
Communication- 1st = 2 people
2nd = 3 people
Research- 1st = 3 people
2nd = 3 people
Media support- 1st = 1 people
2nd = 1 people
Logistics- 1st = 4 people
2nd = 3 people
Due to the fact that different people may not be available at specific shifts, their various IC’s will decide the people involved.
When not waiting for your shift or when you have finished your shift, help to promote the items on sale and generate more awareness for our project’s cause.
DO NOT GO HOME.
During the sale of products, the jobs of the different groups are as follows:
Finance: keep track of the number of products left and make sure they tally with the amount of money collected.
Communications and Research: ask people to come and buy our products. The two people in charge of taking the laptop and speakers in the morning will play the music.
Logistics: sell the products and give the money collected to the finance people, who will count them and make sure they are correct.
Media support: take pictures. Duh. Then send the pictures to class email.
Other details
The stall will be set up at the canteen in front of the vending machines.
Come in school uniform but we will wear class tee during the sale of products.
The items needed for the WHOLE thing is : 2 canteen tables (canteen)
2 canteen benches (canteen)
1 laptop (school)
1 speaker (school)
1 movable board (school)
1 cash box (optional by the finance
people)
1 table cloth (optional by the logistics
people)
Coins for change (by finance people)
The price of the products will be: $1.50 for the plain bunny
$2.00 for the bunny with accessories
$1.50 for the plain penguin
$2.00 for the penguin with accessories
